Anne Davis, MA, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Hello!   I specialize in helping women who are struggling with symptoms related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. I believe that it is possible not only to recover, but to achieve greater resilience and post-traumatic growth. My goal will always be to help you find hope and strength in your journey.  I hope to inspire you, help you build greater insights and coping strategies, and to support and empower you to rise unbroken from whatever life throws at you.

On a more personal note, I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for almost 20 years after being "transplanted" here by my husband.  We have one daughter who just graduated high school and is off to college in the fall.  We also have a quirky cat who has determined we are all part of her "staff."  In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, weekend getaways, and various creative pursuits.

I have partnered with Mindful Therapy Group for scheduling and billing.

To schedule an appointment with me, please call  425 -640-7009 x1

or email intake@mindfulsupportservices.com

Currently I am an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:

Kaiser Permanente, Premera Blue Cross, Cigna, United Healthcare/Optum.

Grief/Loss

Grief is a natural and universal response to loss. It can affect us emotionally, physically,

and mentally.

Grief can also be a source of growth

as we learn to cope with our pain and

find new meaning in life.

Hope is the belief that

we can heal and move forward.

Hope is not a denial of reality, but a recognition of possibilities.

Hope can help us face

our grief with courage

and resilience, and inspire us to seek support and connection.

Trauma/PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop

after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, such as a natural disaster, a violent assault, a serious accident, or a war. PTSD

can cause distressing and persistent

symptoms that interfere with daily

functioning and quality of life.

PTSD can be treated with various forms of psychotherapy and medication. The most important step is to seek professional help and support as soon as possible.

The goal is to heal from the trauma, regaining a sense of control and meaning in life - - to develop

greater resilience and achieve

post-traumatic growth.

Resilience and
Post-Traumatic Growth

Traumatic events can leave us with many difficult emotions and disruptions in life. How we respond to these painful challenges after trauma can make a significant difference in our recovery.

You may feel overwhelmed, hopeless, or stuck, but the important thing to know is that these feelings are actually normal responses to extremely abnormal events.

Over time as you recover,  you may be surprised to find you are more resilient than you ever realized.

The good news is it is possible to find ways to grow, learn,

and thrive again.
